Gary J. Magio

Mr. Maglio previously served as Controller, overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of seven assisted living facilities, and real estate enterprises including, office buildings, hotels, storage facilities and construction companies owned by SeniorCare. R.K. Associates sold the SeniorCare properties to CareMatrix and Mr. Maglio was subsequently retained by them as Regional Vice President and Controller.

In addition to Mr. Maglio's accounting background, his responsibilities have included information technology. He was responsible for the development and implementation of a computer system to service accounting and human resource functions, as well as overseeing the maintenance and upgrades.

Prior to joining the SeniorCare/R.K. Associates in October 1989, he had 11 years experience as a financial auditor in various capacities in savings, commercial and international banking, and regulatory auditing with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in History and a minor in Business Administration from St. John’s University, New York.
